As a general contractor, we oversee the workmanship of each trade from start to finish.  As with any process, there are individual steps that must be dealt with in a sequence. Some of the steps must be completed before a next step is taken, and some steps can occur simultaneously. Knowing which is which requires experience and competency in each craft involved. Does the electrician come before the painters, or after the plumbers? Someone must manage and co-ordinate the process.
