Arthur graduated from Northeast Louisiana University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction and became a Construction Manager. The responsibility of president was turned over to Arthur in 1989, making Kriens Construction a third generation family owned business. He has worked on many types of residential, commercial and insurance repair construction projects during his years with the company including the largest project done by the company, a $2 million 53 unit retirement apartment building.
In 1998, Arthur was one of the first in Sioux Falls to earn a designation as a C.G.R., (Certified Graduate Remodelor). In 1999 Arthur was named as one of the BIG 50 Remodelers in the Country by Remodeling Magazine. To date no one else in South Dakota has been named to the BIG 50.
He serves the community through his involvement with various business organizations and clubs. As president, he is responsible for overseeing and leading all departments of the company in the day-to-day operations and developing and directing the Company’s mission, vision and values.
